Ms. Galindo was born in Lima, Peru. She came to the U.S. as a teenager and has lived in the Bay Area (Daly City, San Francisco and currently in Alameda) ever since. She obtained her B.A in Psychology from San Francisco State University. Her original career plan was to get her Marriage and Family Therapist license but after having her daughter Kylie in 2010, she discovered a passion for early child development. She worked as an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) instructor for children on the autism spectrum. While volunteering for her daughter’s preschool, she decided to go back to school and earn her credits for her ECE Site Supervisor Permit. Last year, she completed her practicum at a Spanish Immersion preschool in San Francisco. She is honored to join our GLM community this year and hopes to nurture each child’s uniqueness and encourage their independence during their important formative years. During her free time, Ms. Galindo enjoys reading and going to the movies with her husband and daughter. She also loves musicals and doing Zumba at the gym.
Hands down, this is a special place on earth and despite the good and bad that comes with disruption in this world for children, I feel good knowing my boys built a good foundation at GLM.
GLM has been a magical place and a transformative experience for my grand daughters!
We are so happy that she can return to GLM. We miss it so much. It is truly a uniquely wonderful school.
